Looking for the cheapest data bundles in Nigeria? The plan with the lowest price is rarely the one that gives you the most data for your money. The fairest way to compare is price per gigabyte (GB), and that’s what the tables below show.
These prices come straight from the live price list in the BillBoxs app, so they change when the networks change their plans. You don’t have to wait for someone to update this page.

How to choose the right plan
Compare price per GB, not the price tag
Divide the price by the number of GB. A ₦1,000 plan with 2GB costs ₦500 per GB. A ₦3,000 plan with 10GB costs ₦300 per GB, so it’s far cheaper even though you pay more up front. The tables above do this sum for you.
Match the validity to how you use data
Big plans are only cheaper if you actually use the data before it expires. If you use data every day, a 30-day plan is usually best. If you only go online now and then, a 7-day or smaller plan stops you paying for data that expires unused.
Know the plan types
You’ll often see labels like SME, gifting or corporate gifting. They’re different ways networks sell data in bulk, and their prices and rules differ. Some can’t be used on every type of line, and some don’t roll over. Whatever the type, the app shows you the size, validity and price before you pay.
Check your balance before you buy
Use your network’s app or balance code to see how much data you still have. Buying a new plan while you still have lots of data left is a common way to waste money.
Five ways to make your data last longer
- Turn off auto-play for videos on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and X.
- Set app updates and photo backups to Wi-Fi only on your phone.
- Use data-saver mode in your browser and in WhatsApp (Settings → Storage and data → Use less data for calls).
- Download music and shows on Wi-Fi instead of streaming them on mobile data.
- Check which apps use the most data in your phone’s settings, and limit background data for the worst ones.

Which network has the cheapest data in Nigeria?
It changes as networks update their plans, and the answer is different for small and big bundles. The table at the top of this page shows the best value on each network today, from live prices.
Why is the same plan cheaper on some apps than others?
Apps and vendors buy data in bulk on different terms and add different margins. Comparing the price per GB for the same size and validity is the fairest way to compare.
Does unused data roll over?
That depends on the network and the plan. Many plans don’t roll over, so pick a validity that matches how much you use.
